Human Studio is currently working to fit out a recently completed community amenity shell building, providing the seven-storey building with artists’ studio spaces across multiple levels. 825 Pacific will offer a unique and much-needed opportunity for artists and cultural organizations to thrive in Vancouver’s downtown core. There will be a new event space on the ground floor, library and collections storage, reading area, and shared office spaces for artists and the 221A non-profit organization. The shared corridor between the artists’ studios is designed as a pin-up space for artists to display work, inspiration or messages with their neighbours and the community.
